Your dryer vent is blocked. The dryer will still heat and blow but the blockage doesn't allow for proper air flow and the clothes will get warm but will not dry. Have your dryer vent cleaned.

How often should I clean out my lint trap on my dryer?

Accepted Answer

You should clean out the lint trap on your dryer after every load you dry. Failure to clean out the lint trap frequently causes lint to bypass the trap and get trapped in the dryer vent over time. Clean your dryer vent.

How much does it cost to clean my dryer vent?

Accepted Answer

A standard cleaning is $80. We charge an extra $20 if we need to go into the attic and inspect/ repair the ductwork. If a repair of the ductwork requires parts, we will quote you before beginning the repair.

Do you provide free estimates?

No. If you call us and you agree to have us come to your home, payment of $80 (minimum) is due.

All service is performed by appointment only. Call and leave a message or email us, and we will get back with you as soon as possible. Our days and times of availability vary but we can perform service most evenings and on weekends if necessary (and at technican's discretion)

Do you invoice or bill for services?

No. Payment is due upon completion of work. Full payment is due if we arrive and find no lint blockage and no cleaning needs to be performed. We will not bill or invoice a landlord, leasing company, or realtor. You call, you agree to our services, we arrive, we perform service, payment is due.

What forms of payment do you accept?

The technician only accepts cash or local bank check. We DO NOT accept debit cards, bank based gift cards, credit cards, Venmo, or PayPal.

Do you offer any discounts?

Our services are priced to be very competitive therefore we offer no discounts on our services. We are not in business to lose money.

Are the techncian's screened for COVID and do they follow CDC precautions?

WE TAKE COVID SERIOUSLY. Our technicians are screened daily for COVID exposure and symtpoms per CDC guidelines. They mask fully and practice proper hygiene. If the technician does not observe COVID safe practices, they are subject to immediate disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination. If our technicians believe the homeowner is not observing CDC recommended safe practices in the presence of our technician, they are fully authorized to immediately leave without completing the cleaning. If you as the homeowner refuses to observe COVID precautions, DO NOT CALL US.

How do you clean the dryer vent?

We arrive to your home once we receive your approval of our fees and conditions for service. A full inspection of both the dryer side and disharge side of the dryer vent is performed and we will use a video camera if needed. We take extra care to protect floor and wall finishes before we start work but we take pictures if we find any pre-existing damage before work begins. We then access and clean out the dryer lint trap and the internal dryer cabinet. Next we connect a powerful 2-stage vacuum and use drill powered mechanical brushes to loosen and remove the lint blockage. Once completed we will reconnect the ductwork to the dryer and turn on the dryer to insure air flows freely.

What does the homeowner need to do before the technician arrives?

1) Make sure the technician has a place to park and has access to bring in their tools and equipment.
2) All pets must be secured and contained. Our techncians will not enter the house if your dog is not kept away from the technician or away from the inside and outside work areas. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3) We will not remove any items stacked on or around the dryer or outside at the dryer vent disharge. Out techncians will not perform the service unless all obstructions are cleared away from the work areas.

WIll you go under the house or on the roof to perform the cleaning?

No. If cleaning or repairing the dryer vent ductwork requires that we go under the house or on the roof, we will stop service, and payment of $80 (minimum) is due. We rely on the homeowner to know the details of how their home is built, and we are not responsible if we find the dryer vent ductwork to be inaccessible. If the cleaning or repair requires going under the house or on the roof, we strongly recommend a contractor or home maintenance company to perform the work.

Do you repair appliances?

WE DO NOT REPAIR APPLIANCES. We only clean dryer vent ductwork and repair the actual ductwork where possible.
